I want to share a story with you how the power of the mind can heal.
Learn from your body
One of the most powerful lessons you can learn is that your body is your teacher. It is important to learn from your aches, pains, disorders, and diseases. This is so that you can transform yourself and discover what you need to know about yourself.
Health is a State of Mind
It is important to realize that health is a state of mind and even more importantly, it is a specific state of mind that can be achieved. It is our thoughts and attitudes that form our physical bodies today. This is the result of our thinking and behavior. Knowing this, you can gain confidence that if you had the power to create illness or disease, you also had the power to create wholeness and health.
The Power of Positive Thinking and Attitudes
Recognizing the power of the mind is how my wife overcame a stage four cancer diagnosis. She was in a state where she felt like her left foot was already on the grave. In fact, there was a sliver of a moment when I was about to prepare my funeral arrangements. However, our faith (state of assumption) prevailed, and we followed the laws of the universe, and utilized the power of positive vibration and frequency.
Visualize Your Way to Perfect Health
While she was healing, she kept on repeating to herself and believing to “Stay Calm and Trust in God.” (There is another story to his mantra, which I will share in my blogs). Every morning, afternoon, and evening she kept on visualizing her version of “perfect health” – running in a marathon. Fast forward to today, here she is preparing for a 5K race with me next week in Chandler, Arizona.
Think Positive Thoughts
So, if you are feeling sick, remember that you can create a more vibrant and healthier you! Think positive thoughts and you will be back on your feet in no time! For instance, if you make the conscious choice to let go of stress, choose only positive thoughts, and fill your mind with peaceful and pleasant images, your body will naturally become stronger. Or if you focus on positive affirmations such as “I am healthy and strong,” your body will be encouraged to create a healthier state of well-being.
You Are in Control.
Taking charge of your life starts with having a clear mental picture of who you are and how you want it to be. The process of building and understanding responsibility starts when you have a clear, detailed mental picture of what you want in life.
You Have the Power to Heal Yourself
The same method will work very well for changing disorders in your physical body from unhealthy to healthy if you use the same method. It is not only critical for you to visualize your physical body being the way you want it to be, but you should also be aware of the attitude that is causing the problem so that you can change that mental picture. Remember, as you think, so you become.
